Volunteers interested in
caring for our
animals must first attend a minimum of three
volunteer shifts at the Pet Adoption Center, then attend either a Dog Handler or Cat
Care class.
Animal Care Volunteers are usually on location for approximately 3 hours per morning
shift.
And let's not forget the staff and
volunteers who have been working overtime and extra
shifts to help provide
care for the many great shelter
animals and for stepping it up one more time to process the hundreds of adoptions, totaling 221
animals over the last two days.
