I removed the peeling veneer, primed the piece with General Finishes Stain Blocker and painted it in General Finishes
Antique White Milk Paint.
For the stencil, I'm using General Finishes Milk Paint (50/50 mix of Snow White and
Antique White Milk Paint).
I used
Antique White Milk Paint for the lower portion of the sideboard, and Espresso Water Based Wood Stain for the top, finishing both sections off with High Performance Water Based Top Coat in Satin.
I mixed
some antique white milk glass salad dishes and candlestick holders with my gold flatware.

I loved the idea to use the
milk paint on the pumpkins and honestly I like both ways with the
white wax finish and I did loved the
Antiquing wax too...
Two of these

white pitchers came from Target, one came from Wallmart, another from an
antique store, and one I already had... a keepsake from my hubby's childhood mountain home.
