The new guidelines for Superior Court judicial
appointments released this week
highlight the need for Judicial Advisory
Committees (JACs) to be more representative of Canada, and to receive training on diversity, unconscious bias, and assessment of merit, criteria which could also be applied to those aspiring to enter the profession.
