Speaking of buttons, the capacitive buttons work well, but the back and the open apps buttons don't have the familiar icon.
Are you saying that the Home, Back and Recent Apps buttons don't work any more?
The camera UI rotates properly in portrait mode, but the on - screen back - home - recent
apps buttons do not.
Accessing the apps tray isn't a huge deal and removing the apps button doesn't make a huge difference either.

I'm working on posting reviews for the Android - powered InkBook Prime and InkBook Classic 2, and it turns out the Kindle

does not, you can simply install our
App Store client with a click of a
button, no registration required.
Open the installer, then open the Amazon
App Store (don't cancel the installation, just hit the home
button) then open the installer again and the install
button should be lit up.
I especially miss the microSD slot (especially if only 500 MB is available for sideloaded content), plus the page turn
buttons (I didn't use them as intended, but instead as shortcuts to

That being said, the inkBook still suffers from the same kind of issues that all Android ereaders suffer from: most 3rd party

apps; and the Android software is less - optimized than what you get on Kindles and Kobos, and it lacks some features that they offer.
On the home screen of the Cloud Reader there's a Kindle Store
button, but it doesn't
do what the old iPad

What people have been wondering is how they would get around the

apps clear the Google frame rate reboot your phone right away once it turns on go too about phone and check for update you should see the jelly bean update appear once it finishes downloading put your phone in airplane mode by holding the power
button then reboot your phone and boom you have jelly bean
The Nook
button is the glue that holds common navigation together, but it doesn't work in all
apps, which is problematic.
There is some inconsistency, though, because in some
apps the Settings
button doesn't work.
