Considering there hasn't been a console
version of this game or the previous title announced, it's
going to be a long time before players outside of Japanese and Asian
arcades will be able to get a hold of this unit.
Any new
version of Frogger isn't
going to appeal to anyone outside of the classic
arcade fans and that crowd (me) isn't too interested in having new modes or graphics to try and dress things up.
No online cross play (wich would make the community bigger for the PS3 user and especially the PSVita user) is really disapointing since this seems to be a port of the PS3 game with only one new feature, i think im not
going to buy this
version, 40 to 50 $ for a new challenge tower is a pretty hight price point but if you changed your mind on cross play and / or give us the MK
Arcade Kollection with this game i would gladly change my mind

version of the classic

version of this
arcade classic next week.
I'm not sure how many old - school gamers are out there who loved what was probably one of the first platform games ever and remember it fondly enough to want to buy this
version without a second thought, so I'm
going to put all that history aside and simply look at Lode Runner as I would any other
arcade game - and as any other
arcade game it has its good points and its bad points.
A few gripes: Tag Mode is
gone (though you can still tell opponents to shoot and pass), there's no online (though the HD
versions later this year should have it) and the team didn't implement quite as much password record - keeping as was in the
arcade classic.
So we
went from 20 characters (22 in the console
version) to 31 characters in the
arcade version of KOF XIII, and we're adding a few more to the console
version.
There's a reason they finally
went with an
arcade version, after all.
Until now,
arcade goers in the Philippines are still stuck playing the «vanilla»
version of the game.
Probably due to the fact that many popular fighting games are unable to develop an
arcade version and
go straight to console, so Tekken fans feel slighted.
Bubble Bobble has
gone from success to success on various computer system including the Amiga, Commodore 64 and regular
arcade play machines and now in the regular PC's with this

The King of Fighters»98 is potentially

After Burner: Black Falcon takes the basic formula of the
arcade versions and adds a lot of features appropriate for playing at home (or, in this case, on the

I'm sure Konami would appreciate knowing that someone has already
went to the trouble of making an
arcade version of their Kinect game which they already had been considering (and then send in their lawyers after them).
This year alone, the company is
going to release seven different
