Arkham City looks to take that foundation and just expand on it, also I still hold on to a faint hope that Rocksteady will surprise all of us and reveal that the game has a Co-op mode.

I feel like this review is shockingly late, especially as all evidence the game ever existed is currently getting buried under an avalanche of Batman:
Arkham City excitement (which will be followed by the Uncharted 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations and Halo avalanches —
look, it's just not a good time of year to not be a juggernaut game title).

Whenever I sit down and begin to think about the games I'm
looking forward to many titles pop into my head; Rage, Batman:
Arkham City, Gears of War 3 and so many more, but Modern Warfare 3 doesn't pop into my head.
However, there's a lot of other great
looking games that are coming out that did» t make this list, like Dark Souls, Modern Warfare 3, Batman:
Arkham City and much more.
The world may be relatively large and beautiful, packed with rain - soaked architecture and criminals
looking to take advantage of the evacuation, but it's also pretty much empty space devoid of anything for the player to actually discover for themselves, a mistake that Rocksteady made when they created
Arkham City, too.
Sadly, it didn't
look as dense as
Arkham City.
In any case, I think it's safe to say that
Arkham City will be a hell of a good -
looking game when it's released in late 2011.

looked superb, with blinking

The game still has amazing visuals, retaining the dark gritty atmosphere of
Arkham City's prison setting while at the same time allowing you to visually tell by the
looks of things that Harley has taken over.
In spite of that,
looking at
Arkham City as you soar high above is very pleasing.
Arkham City is, without a doubt, one of the best

I was offered a second opportunity when the remastered ICO and Shadow of the Colossus HD collection was released, but if I remember correctly I was tied up with Batman:
Arkham City at the time (
look, I was a frugal uni student, I had to pick my purchases wisely).
It is no secret that the developers of this game have
looked at the fighting engine from the highly successful Batman
Arkham City, and have designed a similar system for The Amazing Spider - Man.
It
looks like seasoned
Arkham city gamers will be quite at home jumping straight into this new addition to the story.

I hope its not just another rerun of
arkham asaylum that ads 5 or 6 new toys a car and from there is exactly the same.While
arkham asylum was a great game,
arkham City for me felt almost the same as the previous title.Didnt get
arkham origins, and now the next one comes along... I do hope it will be on Unreal Engine 4, the prvious one has started to
look weak.
Allow me to break this down as much as I can, Batman Origins plays and
looks a lot like
Arkham City, and this is great if you loved
City because it is more of the same, and yes that is where the «problem» lays right there, it is more of the same basically.
The game
looks good and feels / plays, for the most part, like
Arkham City, but it's so buggy to the point of being unplayable... Batman will occasionally fall through the world: doesn't happen often, but is inconvenient.
But Batman:
Arkham City is
looking far too good to not share any news.
A few major announcements are expected to go down: Batman:
Arkham City will debut gameplay, Lucasarts might announce Star Wars Battlefront 3, a first
look at Saints Row 3, and the first trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
While it's far too early to judge the game fairly, so far,
Arkham City is gearing up to be the game I'm most
looking forward to this year and so should you.
