If we got RDR and
Arkham City there would be just as much complaining going on because anyone that wanted them already has them.
Set in a sprawling district of
Arkham city there is going to be plenty of new gameplay opportunities and a mix of new baddies to pummel.
Not exact matches
It's a substandard but largely competent «AAA» game in a sea full of them, and those who do value the idea of content above all else will find more than their money's worth here...
There's simply no reason to pick it up, however, if you've yet to try The Witcher 3, Shadow of Mordor or Batman:
Arkham City.
Madworld from Wii (Since it is backwards compatible), No More Heroes, Batman
Arkham City, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate etc.
there are plenty of «mature» games out
there for you to play on the Wii U (yeah some are Wii) and yeah they are not made by Nintendo but so what, you want mature games and
there ya go haha.Also if the Wii U can handle Monoliths X I think it can handle GTA 5, a game running off of Xbox 360 / PS3 specs (less powerful than the Wii U) it really is up to Rockstar to release it on Wii U.
DC comics have a vast stable of amazing characters; it's a shame that up to now
there has not been a game apart from the amazing
Arkham City series...
to me i'm happy being able to get hd games and ones like ac3,
arkham city and me3 we couldn't get on nintendo before; later
there are nintendo exclusives coming like bayonetta 2, pikmin 3 and 3d mario that will be fantastic in hd!
There's a certain satisfaction, for example, in racking up a 150 - hit combo in
Arkham City «s combat mini-game.
There's simple statistical information such as weight and height, which while sort of interesting is hardly required to play the game, as well as a short but well written summary of who the character, their past and what their involvement in
Arkham City is.
However,
there's a lot of other great looking games that are coming out that did» t make this list, like Dark Souls, Modern Warfare 3, Batman:
Arkham City and much more.

Blackgate Prison was right next to
Arkham City, and with villains running on the loose,
there's really no point in visiting that area at all.

Arkham City.
Arkham City lost some of the focus that worked so well in
Arkham Asylum by introducing an open - world for players to explore, and
Arkham Origins has compounded that mistakes by presenting us with a chunk of empty space that's just
there.
If
there is one game you buy this year, make it Batman:
Arkham City.

There have been a lot of questions flying around the internet about the upcoming Batman:
Arkham City game.
As you can see
there has been some epic titles added to the list such as
Arkham City and Final Fantasy XII - 2 with still more titles yet to be announced.
That has been wholly corrected in Batman:
Arkham Knight as
there is a plethora of objectives littered around the
city.
While
there is not a lot in the episode you get 2 more hours of
Arkham City's story and a really high level of quality you normally don't see in downloadable content.
You've probably noticed by now that
there has been no mention of Catwoman DLC that comes packaged in every new copy of Batman:
Arkham City, and that's because the Catwoman isn't technically part of the itself and not everyone buying the game will get it.
Even though WB Montreal were the developers responsible for porting
Arkham City to the Wii U
there wasn't much beyond this on their CV, so you could understand why gamers were a bit nervous.
Even though the final battle in
Arkham City was probably it's greatest flaw,
there was just something magical about hearing Conroy say «I'll never let you win.....
In perspective, this is just the calm before the storm when we'll get the even bigger releases later this year, including Batman
Arkham City, Skyrim, Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (which finally has a release date, thank god) Uncharted 3, Gears of War 3, Modern Warfare 3, and Battlefield 3 (is it just me, or are
there a lot of 3's this year?)
Specifically it's F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin and F.E.A.R. 3, but
there's also Rocksteady's Batman:
Arkham Asylum and
Arkham City with Scribblenauts Unlimited and LOTR: War of the North too.
I hope its not just another rerun of
arkham asaylum that ads 5 or 6 new toys a car and from
there is exactly the same.While
arkham asylum was a great game,
arkham City for me felt almost the same as the previous title.Didnt get
arkham origins, and now the next one comes along... I do hope it will be on Unreal Engine 4, the prvious one has started to look weak.
This game may be in my top ten favorite games of all time, it may not have changed the formula as much as
city did but
there is not as much to change that would be unneeded if you are a fan of batman
arkham city i recommend this game.
Allow me to break this down as much as I can, Batman Origins plays and looks a lot like
Arkham City, and this is great if you loved
City because it is more of the same, and yes that is where the «problem» lays right
there, it is more of the same basically.
The PS3 received PlayStation Plus several years into the console's life cycle (editor's note: PlayStation Plus was first introduced in June of 2010), and as such,
there have been tons of AAA titles available through the service including XCOM: Enemy Unknown, BioShock: Infinite, Batman:
Arkham City, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution to name a few.
There's only so much that the excellent
Arkham Asylum and
Arkham City can do for this remaster collection, however.

There's just so much that
Arkham City gets right about being the Batman.
Its linearity means I wouldn't remove the crown from The Witcher 2, or Batman:
Arkham City, but it's most certainly up
there on the podium with them.
In 2011,
there was an incredibly close race between Batman:
Arkham City and Portal 2 between team Bitcast for the Game of the Year award with Portal 2 coming out on top.
Batman
Arkham City is not only a solid - port but one of the best action games out
there.
From the gloomy streets of
Arkham City to the diversity of each villain's hideout,
there's tons of eye - candy to view in this game with a haunting soundtrack to accompany you.
With a world that surpasses Batman:
Arkham Asylum in size (five times to be exact), you'll want to experience all
there is to see in the work of Gotham
City.
«Naturally as
there was such a rush of interest about «
Arkham City,» everyone was asking me about a third game, and frankly, I had been wondering about that myself.
Arkham Knight makes Gotham
City seem like a real place, and I almost want to visit it, even if
there are constantly psychopaths on the loose trying to kill everyone.
We already knew
there'd be more games in the same vein after the success of Asylum «s sequel,
Arkham City, but folks have been left in the dark about what further games might be about.
There would also be a significant departure in terms of gameplay — for starters, Gotham
City would feel more lively due to the presence of the population (unlike the
Arkham titles) and due to a proper day / night cycle (which the recent Batman games lacked, as they were invariably set during nighttime).
There are two exceptions, for my money: The
Arkham games, since taking down a large group of enemies required such precision and fluidity (though that wasn't DLC, so maybe that doesn't even count) and Dishonored «s much - more - fun - than - I - expected «Dunwall
City Trials» which, by focusing purely on individual elements of gameplay, ended up feeling very different from the base game.
And
there's plenty of stuff I've been wanting to take a second look at: specifically,
Arkham City and the director's cut of Deus Ex: HR.
