weekend, and it is not just for us to finish above Man City and clinch the usual Champions League quaklification, but also to stave off Tottenham finishing above us for the first time in Arsene Wenger's reign

weekends crazy loss to West Brom by going all out to beat Dinamo Zagreb from the kickoff on Tuesday, and now that the Gunners have to score
at least two goals in Athens in a fortnight Per Mertesacker believes that we just have to copy that template, and go all out for the win from the beginning of the

There's no denying that Lingard comes into the
game in good form and with plenty of confidence, especially after bagging a crucial brace in the win

weekend, but the Gunners midfielder Jack Wilshere feels that we were on top for a lot of the
game, but just didn't take advantage of our chances when they appeared during the match.
With the current league leaders Manchester United heading to the Emirates next
weekend, this
game has come in the nick of time and if
Arsenal continue to play
at the high level we saw today, we might even see the Gunners on top of the table.
And as we look forward to this
weekend's big
game, we too know that
Arsenal might be a huge great spike of vicious pain, but they might — Petr Cech's injured, everybody's miserable — not even exist
at all.
And true to form, ahead of Chile's friendly with Brazil
at the Emirates this
weekend, Sanchez has uploaded some snaps of him preparing for the

Even if a sloppy pass or a momentary lack of focus leads to a goal there should be enough attacking ability in the

Arsenal fans will be hoping that the Premier League's 18th placed team Hull City can do us a favour by taking points off Chelsea this
weekend but not really expecting it from the Tigers, especially as the
game is going to be played
at Stamford Bridge.

weekend, there was always going to be a lot of pressure on Arsene Wenger and the
Arsenal players after our side had fallen out of the top four and into the worst position
at this point of a season for over 10 years.
So he might well not be fit to face Stoke

weekend and that makes the next two
games a lot harder for
Arsenal.
The Gunners started poorly in the domestic league as well but have largely put that right and, as Wenger reminded us all in the press conference today reported by the
Arsenal website, our last
game was an excellent away win
at Leicester City, a team that had started like a rocket, were playing very well and had not lost a
game until last
weekend.
Results can start to change
at the top of the Premier League table to the favour of
Arsenal begining with these
weekend games.
Sadly that didn't go as planned for City and now they are in a straight fight with
Arsenal for automatic qualification to next seasons Champions League, and if they beat the Gunners this
weekend they will leapfrog
Arsenal into third on goal difference with just one
game to play, so Arsene Wenger will be desperate to get
at least a point to keep us in the driving seat.
We will have to wait and see how things pan out in East London
at the
weekend, and
Arsenal wwill need to play well to come back with all three points from our Premier League clash away to West Ham United, but I do have a feeling that, for a change, things are going our way ahead of this crucial
game.
If
Arsenal do as we expect them to this
weekend and run out as winners of the home
game against a struggling Southampton side getting used to their new manager Claude Puel, while he gets used to the English Premier League for the first time, then we will be heading into the next round of matches a bit closer to
at least one of our big spending Premier League rivals.
With
games coming thick and fast, has the comeback of these two

at the perfect time and allowed Wenger to field as strong a side as possible this
weekend?
Even though
Arsenal piled the pressure on our Premier League rivals by taking all three points off Sunderland in the first

weekend at the Stadium of Light, we are still locked on points with both Liverpool and Man City
at the top of the table after they both managed wins of their own.
