Good news for
Arsenal's future and with the current team including such amazing
players as Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez and some real promise in the
youth system, who is to say how bright that future will be?
The latest in a long line of
players to graduate from Ajax's famed
youth academy, and the 18 - year - old has already garnered interest from the likes of
Arsenal and Manchester United.
I love the fact that
Arsenal is a family orientated club where no matter what happens everyone will get a fair chance to prove themselves, be it because of a loss of form or recovery from long term injury or even when trying to break into the 1st team from the
youth setup However I feel that new high profile signings such as Cech, Reus, (you add who you like) would lift the moral of the entire team and give many
players the confidence in their teammates that is needed when going into big games.
If
Arsenal truly have to kick the season off against Liverpool with one of the
youth players up front, then it shows a very sorry looking
Arsenal state.
But I am getting off topic... In the near 19 years of Arsene Wenger and until May 2014 Liam Brady running the
youth system at
Arsenal I can not remember them releasing / selling a
youth team
player that has gone on to be a world class or even top 4 team
player.
Wilshere has that «local boy» thing going for him (since
Arsenal has not really been producing anything exceptional as
players) and Wenger obviously rely on him a lot since he is one of his «findings» (
youth disastrous policy)...
Arsenal have a great balance of
youth and experience in my opinion and it's a balance that will see the young
players especially benefit from the talents and experiences of the older members of the squad.
Play those stealing a living at
Arsenal like Debuchy and Wilshere and pack the bench with 6 token
youth players and Takuma the Japanese Messi
With transfer fees continually on the rise and this summer seeing some crazy prices paid for
players, such as the signing of rumoured
Arsenal transfer target Gonzalo Higuain by Italian champions Juventus and the crazy money set to be shelled out by Manchester United for their former
youth star Paul Pogba, is this why
Arsenal have made just one big transfer so far?

The right back was born in Barcelona and spent eight years in the
youth system with the current La Liga champions and that, along with the recent record the Catalan club has of taking our
players and the news that their long serving Brazilian international Dani Alves is leaving, it is hardly surprising that
Arsenal fans were worried that Bellerin might end up leaving us.

Arsenal's Premier League II team or to their Under21 team or even loan him out21 instead of to start using him straightaway in their first team starting XI squad since this is usually the practice at
Arsenal whenever they sign a
youth player thereby underutilising Mbappe's potential in their senior team?.
I'm not suggesting that
Arsenal shouldn't be granted with such a title, because along with the likes of Southampton and West Ham, I do think our
youth set up is fantastic for developing young
players into real potential stars.
We have in our possession one of the most over rated (especially over rated as he might the worse
player in the squad first team and
youth included... A total liability) and overpaid football
player in the history of
Arsenal football club: Theo Walcott.
But we still get mixed messages because we hear about
Arsenal promoting local
youth players yet the club bought Xhaka a Swiss National for 30 mill and are pursuing Spaniard Morata for 30 mill.
That is a real benefit of the
youth system and if we can keep most of these
players fit this time, do you think
Arsenal have a squad capable of winning the Premier League title?
The way we got beaten yesterday was embarrassing, it wasn't even nearly good enough, wenger will prob say «it was just a friendly and doesn't really matter» and «it was a chance to try something different with some
youth players» and to an extent he is right but none of the
players in an
Arsenal shirt were good enough and we looked very weak and if we play anything close to that in the prem, even against a bottom half team we will probably lose.
Arsenal used to be a good club for young
players that are in search of breaking through from
youth to senior football.
In term of CB, people are forgetting that the
youth academy have good
players in Hayden and Ayaje.Southampton use to do well with their academy because the supporters will allow and accept the
youths to be given a chance, now supporters from a big team like
Arsenal wants proven expensive world class
players in order to win quickly in detriment to give a chance to the
youths club.Wenger show preference to some in detriment of others too playing always the same
player and giving few chance to others.Bendtner last year was treated badly, look out this year for Campbell and why not give a chance to Ayaje and Hayden who are olders than Chambers in the cb position, don t tell me it s about potential if they are not given a chance?
Arsenal finished last season in style and we have taken up where we left off, with four wins out of four in the pre-season games, despite the squad rotation and
youth player additions.
Cup games

youth to put pressure on the first - team and show why they deserve a run.

player refuses to train, fine him and stick him with the

Arsenal need goalkeeper we have ospina, scz (i doubt he is that good), martinez if you look at bayern and barcelona their try their level best to look into their
youth squad and then go to market for the
players that arent available with them.
But if Ramsey vehemently wants to go to Barca,
Arsenal can sell him to Barca for that # 50 in the summer plus a Barca
youth player Arsenal may want to take and develop like they did with Bellerin.
However I don't think
Arsenal fans could suffice with Wenger failing to secure top calibre
players yet again, instead deciding to go with
youth.
