art, Judd then placed a large
barge near the entrance.
Anna Clayton is a bespoke furnishing and upholstering craftsperson and works under the name Clayton Made, she lives locally on a converted Dutch
barge and is neighbour to artists and makers Charlie Tymms and Martin Cottis, a couple who have a studio in Bow
Arts Rum Factory Studios.
Martin has been using his skills in community and public realm projects since finishing
art school and has designed and fitted out a number of vessels including the Puppet Theatre
Barge.
During
Art Basel she was selected to curate a major work at the prestigious Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, a National Historic Landmark in Miami, and chose to bring to life the its imagery by having live mermaids swim around the
barge, as women dressed as their statuary sang to them.
Large - scale works to be exhibited include John Chamberlain's The Sylvester
Barge, a «couch» sculpture made in 1982 of urethane foam and nylon cord measuring 6 x 15 feet; a ceiling - mounted «Tarpaulin» painting by the young English artist, Gary Hume; and Katharina Fritsch's Knot, a new painted plaster sculpture of rat - tails that relates to her 1993 Rat - King installation at the Dia Center for the
Arts.

Arts, which some consider to be the phoenix of Parisian bridges: after enduring extensive bombing during WWII and collapsing in 1979 (after several
