The coveted Photographer of the Year title was
presented to British
artist Alys Tomlinson for her series Ex-Voto, a personal
project that encompasses formal portraiture, large format landscape and small, detailed still - life images of the «ex-votos» (offerings of religious devotion) found at pilgrimage sites of Lourdes, Ballyvourney (Ireland) and Grabarka (Poland).
I would suggest also a complementary publication of all the artworks submitted to be
presented as a book celebrating and highlighting such a
project — be given to all the contributing
artists.
The Goodman Gallery One & Only is proud to
present a selection of Thomas Mulcaire's latest works informed by an expedition and
project the
artist worked on in the Antarctic earlier this year.

artists represented in Painting in Space have collaborated with CCS Bard on major
projects, including Tunga's first U.S. survey
presented at CCS Bard in 1997; Olafur Eliasson's large - scale installation, The parliament of reality, permanently installed on the Bard campus; and Lawrence Weiner's floorscape, Bard Enter, installed on the entrance walkway to the Hessel Museum.
