The first example that we're
going to look at is a bodybuilding workout that will work on your upper back, but before it ends it has two exercises for structural balance, and you should do these
as a
superset.
Why: Skullcrushers are a great exercise to
superset with other tricep exercises and work well
as the second exercise because you can
go fairly heavy with weight.
If you regularly do
superset biceps and triceps workouts or forced reps of bench presses and side lateral drop sets, it's highly unlikely that you will be able to put the same pressure on your legs
as well, just because it's
going to hurt too much.
Simple things, such
as increasing the number of reps, performing
supersets, and getting a workout buddy, can
go a long way to improving your overall performance.
The chest flys / dips
superset is the finisher on chest day where you're trying to
go as hard
as you can to work your chest.
And you'll
superset these two portions, meaning that you'll switch between strength and cardio many times in a single class, varying the moves and intensities
as you
go along.
