Several trade
associations and unions associated with construction made large donations to governor's campaign committee, including $ 25,000 checks from the New York City Council
of Carpenters and New York State Laborers, $ 12,500 from the Building Trades Employers
Association and $ 5,000 from the Associated
General Contractors.
This afternoon, a group
of about 20 transportation advocates met at the offices
of the
General Contractors Association in Manhattan to map out its Albany strategy for 2012.
