Avoid other creams and ointments sold for the treatment of sore nipples as these may actually impede healing by preventing air circulation and drying out the skin.

cream, and sour milk products (some individuals tolerate fruit - free, sugar - free yogurt) • Condiments, sauces and vinegar - containing foods (mustard, ketchup, monosodium glutamate; steak, barbecue, chili, shrimp and soy sauces; pickles, pickled vegetables, relishes, green olives, sauerkraut, horseradish, mince meat and tamari; vinegar and vinegar - containing foods such as mayonnaise and salad dressing) • Malt products (malted milk drinks, cereals and candy) • Processed and smoked meats (sausages, hot dogs, corned beef, pastrami, smoked fish) • Mushrooms and
other edible fungi • Peanuts and pistachios • Dried and candied fruit • Melons (watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe are prone to being contaminated with mold) • Fruit juices (canned, bottled or frozen) • Fermented beverages (alcohol, root beer and cider) • Coffee and tea • Leftovers
Additionally, drinking a lot of water will help you control your appetite better, which can be critical for
avoiding those late - night diet - busting binges (usually involving ice
cream, pizza, and
other terrible choices).
Additional foods that are
avoided that contain these ingredients include most baked goods, candy, jelly fruit snacks, granola bars, juices, fruit punch style drinks, ice
cream, soda, chocolate milk, cereal and
other pre-packaged and freezer foods that contain sugar in their ingredient list — unless made with compliant ingredients.
If you suspect an allergy to cow's milk you should also
avoid other products made from or containing milk including
cream, creamy sauces, ice
cream and milk chocolate.
Avoid cleansers and
creams that have alcohol, fragrance, witch hazel, and
other harsh ingredients.
This
