I would recommend you ask your Veterinarian for a toxicology report to test for
poisoning as the
azaleas may have been the cause; however, gardens may also harbour various nasty things from previous occupants and there may be a hidden danger in your garden so I would recommend having the toxicology done to be on the safe side.
