I was fortunate to sign on to the CLEBC publications department as a legal editor in 1990, just when we were embarking on the project to provide

practice area in
BC.
As it turned out, we published the
BC Company Law
Practice Manual in 1997.
I have a serious interest in these topics: CLEBC publishes 50 titles:
practice manuals, annotated precedents, and annotated statutes on
BC law and
practice.
We had long had an idea that
BC needed a company law
practice manual, but we didn't want to undertake a significant effort on the eve of an entirely new statute.
Ng Ariss Fong contributed to the writing of the
BC Continuing Legal Education's publication, «
BC Administrative Law
Practice Manual».
I faced this issue some years ago when we published a voluminous
practice manual that supported the introduction of a new
BC statute.
We are proud of the work we've done here at CLEBC to create authoritative
