My question is, can you transfer points from
BOA cards to ML cards, and if you can then this becomes a great card
If my wife and I downgrade our no longer needed
BoA cards into the Better Balance Rewards Cards, that's four of them right now.
I tried a similar strategy (bump down my credit limits $ 6K each on 2 current
BoA cards) and they still won't give me a 3rd card, whether it be an MLB card or today the Premier Rewards.
First two

Just a quick data point that the credit pull for the Fidelity Investments Rewards (FIA) credit card is separate when applying for other

card) or when restaurants are showcasing new menus.

Tried for the Alaska Airlines Business
card on the same day and was denied immediately due to having too many products with
BoA.
I got approved for Alaska instantly (3rd

card) then few days later I applied for Merrill credit
card and it was pending and I called them many times and still pending.
In all cases
BoA claimed I already had a sufficient number of
cards with them.
I received a phone call from a
BOA rep about three months ago and he stated that my interest rate was going to go up and that I could keep my current interest rate for the balance on my
card until I paid that amount off but I would have to close the account.
I know you weren't directing the comments at me specifically, but
BoA isn't just another credit
card company — it is truly Evil Incarnate.
So now I have 4

cards, the Travel was converted from Alaska first time applied.
Have not applied for any of their
cards in the last few months, but in March, I was denied for an Alaska
card due to having too many
card applications overall — at the time it was 15/12 across all institutions, not just
BOA.
If you are canceling the
card because you hate
BOA just put the
card in your sock drawer and forget about it.
I don't like dealing with
BOA either but I still have 3 or 4
cards from them that I haven't used since signing up for the bonuses and 0 % offers.
The
BoA cash rewards looks good if one needs a Visa or Mastercard
card for international travel that doesn't accept Discover.

I'd like to get the new Premium Rewards
card but already have 9
BOA ccs, Preferred Rewards Platinum Honor Level assets.
If I was spending $ 100k a year on a credit
card, one of the first things I would do is drop a chunk of change with
BOA and maximize my Preferred Rewads tier because it really does make their
cards exceptional.
Recon agent says
BoA «wants to approve», but can't tell if it's a straight approval or moving credit from other
cards.
Hoping recon later today goes a bit better, as I fully intend to use this
card to replace my Travel Rewards, but I wouldn't be surprised to find that
BoA doesn't budge (again).
It may be worth mentioning that the Barclay Arrival / Arrival Plus, Capital One Quicksilver / Venture / Venture One, and
BOA Travel Rewards and PNC Travel credit
cards have no FTF (foreign transaction fees).
