If another woman had been in my
shoes, I would have said that this was a lie, that she hadn't failed her
baby, that she had
done what she needed to
do to keep everyone safe, that she needed to release the lies and welcome the truth over and over again.
I don't own clothes that I'd be comfortable walking around ALL day in with a
baby strapped to me that would be considered «business casual» so they're totally going to look at me like I'm nutters... Yup, totally wearing my yoga tights and tennis
shoes.
Shoes aren't necessary until your
baby starts to stand or walk (socks will
do until then).
Babies and infants at ages 0 — 9 months are called pre-walkers and don't really require
shoes, sneaker, or boots.

On days that formalwear and dress
shoes aren't necessary, infant leather

do the trick to make your
baby's feet looking great while still keeping warm and protected from his or her surroundings.

I think I've learned that I shouldn't necessarily judge what someone else
does until I am in their
shoes but I like the advice of wearing the
baby because it's probably not something necessary to have fun and I don't think that would help.
I have to admit that normally I don't splurge on
baby clothes, but with the quality of these
shoes I am reminded why it is often worth it.

I added a wooden dowel to display and store some cute
baby shoes, using the old curtain ring trick (Tip: bend down the teeth on the clips with pliers first so they don't poke into the
shoes).
Wear flip flops or
shoes that you don't have to bend over and take on and off because you will need to be holding your
baby through security
Baby's feet grow fast; if you don't check his

shoes for your
baby even before those first steps emerge.
Sure, those
baby moccasins are adorable, but the reality is this:
babies don't really need
shoes for a while.

I was so very proud that I made these
baby shoes until Whitney pointed out that I
did not actually finish them (oh no, another craft project unfinished, somebody tell my mom to come back with her sewing machine!).
