About a year or so ago, I started using plain virgin coconut oil to wash my face with a
tallow balm for moisturizing afterwards (oil cleansing dries my skin a bit and makes it feel tight without moisturizing afterwards).
That's all I do — once a day, I wash using the coconut oil and then put on a bit of
tallow balm.
My friend Emilie (who makes the pre-made
tallow balm) sells a 1 % dilution which is perfect for older children and face / body care, but for babies I'd opt for her unscented version.

This clay - based baby powder worked wonders as a diaper - rash remedy, especially when combined with my clay - infused diaper cream, zinc - oxide infused diaper cream,
