Some of the pantry staples that I always try to keep on hand are: oats, brown rice and / or
quinoa, whole grain
pasta, whole grain crackers, canned diced tomatoes, canned
beans, chicken or vegetable broth, sustainably caught canned tuna, raw nuts and seeds, nut butter, healthier snack bars, and good quality dark chocolate.
There shouldn't be an issue with consuming carbs, are long as they are the right kind of carbohydrates (intact / complex carbs)-- oats, 100 % whole wheat
pasta,
quinoa, brown rice,
beans, lentils, potatoes, fruits, and vegetables.
In the past, some of my favorites have been a warm bowl of black
bean quinoa chili, or a big pile of sweet potato nachos, but ever since I created that vegan lemon cream sauce, I've had
pasta on the brain.
One: go for the good stuff; by that I mean I don't bother with whole wheat,
quinoa -, or
bean - based options, as I've yet to find a brand that yields the same perfectly al - dente texture as
pasta made with refined flour.

The majority of my meals comes from Lentils,
