We didn't actually lift a lot of weights in SEAL
training,
because there were so many of us in a SEAL team or in a SEAL
training class, you just couldn't set up a
circuit — but the calisthenics and really today you see the fitness world going from, «Well, you need to do heavy weights or you need to do kettlebells, or you need to... «Well, I think what you find is calisthenics, the old push - ups, sit - ups, 8 - count bodybuilders, chase the rabbit, these were exercises that I still do today, and they serve me pretty well.
The bad news is that
training with strength - curve set extenders in busy commercial gyms can be impractical
because of suboptimal equipment availability and / or placement, as anyone who's ever tried to perform a
circuit at their local gym knows by now.

Because my body has now adapted to my abs
training and are now so strong that I can now do hundreds of reps even when done as
circuits, I have now changed my abs
training to 3 sets of 10 reps each of the 3 kings of abs exercises which are the dragon flag, the full ab roll out and the full hanging leg raise.
Consider a short full body
circuit before steady state cardio which allows the body to burn off more triglycerides that are released from the fat cells
because of adrenaline release caused by resistance
training.
Because when you look at how this workout is put together, you can see it's a
circuit weight
training program.

because it maximizes the total exercise volume (number of sets, repetitions, and amount of weight) completed in a short period of time.
Bottom line with
circuit training, and we're changing the way we
train because of this, is that you should toss in a great
circuit at least once a week instead of a typical weight
training routine.

training some say is the best for a healthy heart is
circuit training were you go from one exercise to another without stopping, for example, doing a set of press ups then a set of squats then a set of pull ups then a set of squat thrusts and so on.

Hi, ive just come across this and i think youve been giving some great advice.im 26 years old and weigh 130 lbs i have a 4 yr old son i want to ideally loose 15 lbs
because thats the weight i was pre pregnancy i keep fluctuating between 130 and 125 lbs.i workout regularly take spinning classes thrice a week and
circuit training 3 times as well.my dietim finding very difficult to manage.how good would a dairy and fruit diet be i feel more energetic on it than meat i also eat tons of veg but ofcourse the real killer is my on and off junk food binging which had no impact till a year ago but now im piling on weight what are the healthy alternatives.
Because you can do shorter workouts,
circuit training is a great time - saver.
The main reason I avoid these workouts is probably
because I felt a bit overwhelmed in some of the
circuit training classes I have been to.
