Bedtime is a little later than normal, but generally speaking we are * trying * to stick to some sort of regular routine and keep structure in our day.

If your baby could
be in the habit of going to bed a
little too
late and
is experiencing disturbed sleep in the night, they'll
be overtired and even though waking
is the issue introducing earlier
bedtime may help your baby to sleep
later in the morning.
If
bedtime or bath time
is difficult, schedule the night out for a
little later in the evening, and make sure that the kids
are nearly ready for bed by the time reinforcements arrive.
I haven't tried the CIO until 7
am b / c she always rolls over and won't go back to sleep, but should I try to couple keeping her up a
little after her final feeding AND make her
bedtime a
little later so she will sleep
later again.
If a child
is not ready for sleep at his scheduled
bedtime he may fall asleep more easily if
bedtime is set a
little later.

is resisting his morning snooze, consider nudging both naps a bit
later until the second one begins to interfere with
bedtime, then cut out the

Don't let him nap too
late, though, even if he
's a
little cranky when you rouse him, so you can get him to bed that night at his regular
bedtime, at 7:00 or 8:00 pm (Seattle time).
As much as I
'm sad to say goodbye to summer and its slow wake - ups, schedule free days and
late bedtimes, I think our entire family will benefit from a
little structure that comes this time of year.
