My research is aimed at discovering how animal visual systems and brains
function in their specific environment in
order to understand some of the evolutionary pressures that lead to the
behaviour and coloration we observe today.
One of the main
functions of the criminal law was to identify, and provide punitive sanctions for,
behaviour that was categorised as criminal because it was damaging to the good
order of society.
