the Black Ops franchise.
The studio behind
the Black Ops franchise is Treyarch, known for innovation and highly engaging games, with Black Ops sub-franchise drawing over 200 million players and 15 billion hours played to date.
In Blackout, players will take part in a battle royale that features weapons, characters, vehicles, and locations from the entire
Black Ops franchise on a single map.
And something cool for the fans from our friends at PlayStation: beginning this afternoon, PlayStation Store is discounting a TON of iconic Call of Duty games and DLC, including the first two installments of
the Black Ops franchise.
Announcing a partnership with Activision and Treyarch Studios, KontrolFreek have confirmed that a brand new Performance Thumbstick based on the juggernaut of
the Black Ops franchise will soon be arriving.
The mode will also feature weapons and characters from across
the Black Ops Franchise, meaning that Campaign characters like Hudson and Woods will be facing off against characters from Zombies like Richtofen and from Multiplayer like Ruin all at the same time.
On Friday, November 6, 2015, fans will finally be able to go on a journey to the dark, twisted and gritty world of the next game in
the Black Ops franchise with a true next generation experience that will attempt to redefine Call of Duty.
Not only that, there will be influences from a decade of the Call Of Duty:
Black Ops franchise.

These fans have already backed up the money truck to Activision's front door (the CoD
franchise has sold 56 million console units in the U.S. alone, with the November 2010 - released Call of Duty:

It is a very good addition to the Call of Duty
franchise, especally the
Black Ops series (which is my favorite).

Last years Call of Duty: Ghosts was a low point for the series with a dull campaign and multiplayer that ignored the efforts of Treyarch's
Black Ops II to move the
franchise forward.
Such mechanics as the branching storyline in
Black Ops II and the EXO suits seen here demonstrate that Activision and co are willing to put a few toes outside of their comfort zone, but refuse to take the entire step needed to truly advance the
franchise.
With the supposed
Black Ops - killer Halo: Reach knocking on our doors, developer Bungie is moving on to its 10 - year
franchise and building the new engine for it.
Meanwhile Treyarch don't get the credit they deserve for crafting the best Call of Duty since Modern Warfare in the form of the original
Blacks Ops — a shooter that boasted a strong story, great gameplay and solid multiplayer offering — and for attempting to bring new ideas into the stagnant
franchise.
