If you happen to be an avid
user of
Blackberry products you would have noticed that year after year the OS does not seem to have dramtically changed, the
look and added features maybe.
That is mind blowing when you consider that there are 75 million +
BlackBerry smartphone
users and an unknown number of PlayBook owners... If developers needed another reason for putting effort into making an awesome PlayBook app then
look no further...
Rather than having all these separate services powered by the likes of 7Digital and Rovi, they'll be brought under the
BlackBerry App World umbrella making it easier for
users to not only find the content they're are
looking for but seamlessly purchase it using whatever method they wish and have it linked to their
BlackBerry ID.
If available memory does get to low, it
looks like the
BlackBerry Tablet OS just closes one of the inactive but open apps at random (I'm guessing this might change in the future - doesn't seem totally
user friendly).
As nice as PlayBook
looks for both consumer and enterprise
users, I'm still not sold on how dependent the device will be on a
BlackBerry handset.
