You can simply use a
Blendtec blender or equivalent if you
do not have a juicer.
I have
Blendtec Processor which is by no means cheap so I know it can
do the job.
Drain the sweet potatoes when they are
done, and add all casserole ingredients to a blender (like the
Blendtec) or a food processor.
Note: If you
do not have a high powered blender such as Vitamix or
Blendtec, start by blending the hard ingredients (i.e. almonds, oats, and spinach) with the almond milk to ensure they are thoroughly blended.
I
do not YET have a Vitamix and will be deciding if that is the one I want or if the
Blendtec will
do all I need.
And I don't know much about
Blendtec, but I can say that I am totally in LOVE with my Vitamix (especially when it comes to making super smooth nut butters!)
I just made these with a
Blendtec, so a high speed / power blender, and yep, they didn't turn out looking anything like this.
I have a new
blendtec but I still don't have the hang of it for making small amounts of cream sauces like this.
didn't purchases it though... hubby: (I
do use a food processor, but it
does NOTHING like a
Blendtec Can.
I don't have a blender but was at Costco last week and fell in love wih the
Blendtec.....
If you don't have a good blender I highly recommend
Blendtec.
If you don't have a high speed blender like a
Blendtec or a Vitamix yet, I definitely recommend getting one.
We
did end up making a change to the recipe from
Blendtec recipe, they used fresh vine - ripened tomatoes, but since we didn't have any at the time, I used some canned whole tomatoes.
Hard Dates almost burned up my new
Blendtec motor and
did not chop up dates very well.
These are a huge hit in our house but... what am I
doing wrong!!!! I have tried a
blendtec and a kitchenaid food processor and it just get all sticky and wont blend??
So, if your blender is not of the Vitamix,
Blendtec, or maybe Ninja variety — you might want to
do the same.

I don't have a
Blendtec YET but want one... I follow you on FB.
I don't have a
Blendtec, but I use my regular blender to make smoothies, shakes, and green smoothies (though they don't come out very smooth).
The
Blendtec or Vitamix blenders are perfect for something like this because they emulsify the mint leaves and you don't see any small pieces of mint when it's
done blending.
TIP: If you
do not have a high speed blender like a
Blendtec or Vitamix, you may not get the creamy smoothie shown in the picture, but that doesn't mean you can't make it pretty awesome — just blend your greens and liquid first really really well, then add in your other ingredients.
It doesn't really blend things up like my
Blendtec, but I'd rather use it short - term than not at all.
I don't have a Twister Jar on my
Blendtec (yet) so I opted to go the food processor route.
You don't have to chop and prep as much — A Vitamix or
Blendtec will pretty much pulverize anything instantly.
If you don't have a grain mill at home, some grains will blend well in a strong blender, such as a Vitamix or
Blendtec.
You can
do a lot with a Ninja Blender, and it is just so reasonably priced for what you get, especially compared to a Vitamix or
Blendtec.
I'd still love a
Blendtec someday, but for now, the NutriBullet is
doing its job.

I don't own a
Blendtec and have no intentions of getting one (maybe a weddling list item someday) but in the mean time was wondering if you could offer a suggestion for making this with a regular blender.
I would love a
blendtec blender to make smoothies, but the twister jar would be the best because I

She didn't want to spend what I spent ($ 468.00) on my
Blendtec so she ordered a «NInja» online, think it was $ 99.00.
I have never
done this, but all you have to
do is cut a green plantain into thin slices, dehydrate the slices with a dehydrator or your oven, then pulverize into a flour with a high - powered blender like a Vitamix,
Blendtec, or Ninja.
