starting on YouTube),
Blendtec showed off the capacity of its signature consumer blenders (and the durability of various substances) by attempting to blend items that one wouldn't ordinarily blend.
Note: If you do not have a high powered blender such as Vitamix or
Blendtec,
start by blending the hard ingredients (i.e. almonds, oats, and spinach) with the almond milk to ensure they are thoroughly blended.
Start with 1 cup of oat flour (which is just ground oats — I just use my
Blendtec to) then add a pinch of salt, 2 Tbsp of molasses and 1 Tbsp of coconut oil.
While the dough is firming in freezer,
start working on your filling... • In a high - powered blender (Vitamix or
Blendtec are great options) combine all of the filling ingredients, minus the blackberries and lemon zest and cover.
As is typical of most mornings around here, we
started the day with Reggae playing on Pandora [which was drowned out by the sound of the
Blendtec.]
