Director Larry Charles may have had to cut some precious time
from folks like Kevin Corrigan, Chris Parnell and J.B. Smoove (who does show up during the credits in the
blooper reel / extra scenes bit) but it's to the benefit of the movie, which gets in and out in the perfect amount of time (it should be noted B.J. Novak who was cast is nowhere to be seen; also, don't let anyone spoil the cameos for you).
(1:08) consists entirely of laughter stemming
from flubbed lines and unseen circumstances, rendering it both shorter and less accessible than most
blooper reels.
Blu - ray Highlight: There are a number of great extras to choose
from (including one of the funnier
blooper reels and a cool feature called Disney Intermission where the Muppets perform short gags and tease other bonus material whenever you pause the movie), but the commentary with director James Bobin and co-writers Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller is too much fun to ignore.
