From Puno, you will then make your way to the border, where after crossing the notoriously difficult Bolivian Border, you will arrive to
the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca called Copacabana.
On
the Bolivian side of lake Titicaca we visited the Isla de Sol where we had a bit of a major mishap and missed the only boat down to the southern tip of the island (which is where our ride back to Copacabana left from).
If you have time, travel from Puno into Bolivia to see
the Bolivian side of the lake, which is far more tranquil and less developed.
Copacabana on

This would be an excellent way to visit both
sides of Lake Titicaca and I didn't have to choose between the
Bolivian or Peruvian
side of Lake Titicaca.
