There are some good, thoughtful Progressive
writers doing
blogs and «little
books» and those of us that follow such stuff here on the web find them.
Regardless, one of the drawbacks of writing
books and
blogs is that tone of voice does not always come across to readers in the way the
writer intended.
The truth is, there are a lot of us out there whose only connection to like - minded believers has been though the
blogs and
books of «emerging»
writers and thinkers.

In light of my previous post on Luther, and my opening post for this
blog about being called a heretic, I thought I might comment on some recent articles and
books which condemn me (and other speakers and
writers) as someone who teaches a crossless gospel.
I made the very difficult decision to leave working in my dream job with Jamie and branch out on my own to tell my story in food so I quit my job, went freelance as a food stylist and recipe

book she's been working on, and I was only too thrilled to organize a
blog hop with some of our fellow food
writer friends in an effort to spread the word about her crave - worthy creation.
I can't remember exactly which ones I listed, but my general fixations right now are Ottolenghi's Jerusalem, Sam Sifton's Thanksgiving
book (sort of random, but a great quick read), I'm enjoying the Mile End Cookbook, as well as Small Plates and Sweet Treats from the
writer / photographer behind the Cannele - Vanille
blog.
One Simple Change by Winnie Abramson A great
book about Surprisingly Easy Ways to Transform Your Life by Winnie, the
writer of the popular
blog Healthy Green Kitchen.
She's the brilliant
writer behind the
blog Choosing Raw who constantly amazes me with her thought - provoking
blog posts and now, her comprehensive new
book of the same name.

The nice thing about having a
