I was looking for sub 4m SUV with option of Ford Ecosport diesel, Honda WRV Diesel and Suzuki
Brezza diesel.
The affordable variants of the Nexon AMT would take on the likes of the recently launched Vitara
Brezza diesel AMT which is available in three variants.

diesel engine) just like the current sub-compact SUV available in the market.
The engine capacity of the Vitara
Brezza is 1.3 - litre that has turbocharged
diesel engine, which makes 89bhp and 200Nm of torque.
At this price, the base variants of the
Brezza have become even more expensive than before compared to its arch rival, the Tata Nexon (
diesel), which is priced between Rs 7.18 lakh and 10.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Its biggest rival, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara
Brezza is offered only in a
diesel manual trim, while the Ford EcoSport does get a 6 - speed automatic, but only on the petrol engine variant.
When the
Brezza goes get the
diesel AMT option, it will be a 5 - speed unit just like the one available on the likes of the Dzire.

We believe Maruti will use the 1.2 - litre and 1.3 - litre petrol and
diesel engines respectively in the Vitara
Brezza.
As the badging suggests the Maruti Suzuki Vitara
Brezza will be available with only one engine option - the familiar 1.3 - litre
diesel.
When Maruti Suzuki was developing the Vitara
Brezza, this segment was skewed towards
diesel but with the reduction in price gap between the two popular fuels, demand for petrol cars has started to soar again.
