I had
sushi rice instead of
brown rice.
Instead we marinated tofu, boiled some
brown rice, chopped our favorite vegetables, cut the seaweed into pieces and turned
sushi into a salad.
Brown rice is tossed with green onions, pickled ginger and nori, then topped with my favorite
sushi fillings - smoked salmon, creamy avocado, crunchy fresh veggies and a spicy sriracha sauce.
Traditionally lightly salted
sushi rice is used as a base, but if you feel a bit adventurous you can try using black,
