A baby monitor means that you can watch TV or do the laundry while
the bub sleeps whilst enjoying the peace of mind of knowing that he or she is healthy and sleeping soundly.
Again it was a relatively natural birth, healthy
bub and no reason why I shouldn't be producing milk.
Bub is a big and boisterous 21mos.
Then I was on
Bub watch duty (and pool - side cocktail duty) while they waited in line for the AquaDuck — the waterslide that goes out over the ocean.
I was curious to see
Bub's reaction to the characters, as sometimes they can be intimidating to little ones.
It took three attempts to get up the Slippery Streets (tow ropes are not ideal with snowboards), but pretty soon
Bub was hoisting himself up the lift, strapping his board up himself (he became impatient with needing to wait for us to do it), and sliding down the hill himself.
Bub was a little overwhelmed.
I was tempted to call it a day, but my husband suggested my daughter and I take off to fall down the hill together (not joking) and he'd take
Bub to the tow rope.
Bub was a big and boisterous 21mos.
Bub was busy — but as a young toddler, he flew well.
The baby food section offered organic choices (Gerber, I think) and even the Baby MumMum teething crackers that
Bub loved and I was unable to find in Florida.
My husband was a good sport and went for the full pirate makeover, as
Bub was a little young for the makeup.
One thing that helped my confidence with nursing in public, was investing in a couple of good pieces of nursing wear that exposed only what
Bub needed and left the rest covered.
That afternoon
Bub slept through his third parade — Mickey's Jammin» Jungle.
And our trip to Walt Disney World courtesy Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (Canada) and Playhouse Disney Channel definitely made someone we like to call
Bub very happy.
Bub has a few favourite apps and shows, and will happily sit and play or watch wearing his super-cute toddler headphones.
But he did sleep for some of them, and though we tired of multiple rounds of peek - a-boo,
Bub did not, so we kept going.
While Grandma and
Bub enjoyed FDR's amenities and amazingly wonderful vacation nannies -LRB-!)
On our first day using it,
Bub napped in it for over three hours, and had decent sleeps in it throughout our trip.
The view is amazing, and this is where we first noticed that the track looked exactly like the one in Cars, and
Bub pointed out all the places that were featured in the movie.
Last time I could blame the hormones of being pregnant with
Bub, but this time around the tears almost started again!
Larry explained to me that when kids are
Bub's age and younger, they just want to point their board to the bottom of the hill and go.
Bub was not impressed by this in the least, since obviously the dream of his whole life was to snowboard down a mountain, no matter how fun the Riglet Park is.
Bub was in his buggy, and M. was either on Dada's shoulders or holding one of our hands.
Like this one of
Bub at the lake, I'm instantly taken back to that moment in time, and while photos are a wonderful way of bringing events like this back to life, nothing really beats video in that regard.
I was pleased to see
that Bub was cooperating well with Erya, but he was still annoyed that he was not flying down that hill.
Even though he likely won't remember it, my memories of
Bub's first visit to Walt Disney World are definitely magical.
About halfway into our lesson, my daughter and I headed off with Larry and
Bub went with Jill to Holiday Valley «s Burton Riglet Park.
With Cars being a new favourite, seeing Lightning McQueen and Mater at Hollywood Studios was a definite
Bub highlight.
It was a good thing that
Bub was napping for this, because at 40 ″ he was not quite tall enough (minimum height for both slides is 42 ″) to go on.
My nine - year - old daughter and I joined
Bub for an introductory snowboard lesson.
At almost three, they would have let
Bub stay with his sister and play in the Oceaneer's Club, with the proviso that we check in every hour since he was not yet fully potty trained (more on that later).
His face wasn't the only anxious one — with us both having aisle seats, and the «side» that
the bub needed to feed from would mean that my boob would practically be in his lap.
At 21 - months - old,
Bub didn't really grasp the reason for the excitement, but definitely understood that there was reason to celebrate!
Due to school and work commitments, we really did not fly with
Bub too much during this age — Jamaica when he was 16mos.
To top it off,
Bub had not yet been introduced to many of the characters, but that seemed not to matter — he loved them all completely.
Bub was the best - dressed member of our family on our vacation.
Bub was frustrated from all my fussing with his layers and balaclava, but happily headed off with the lovely Erya — his instructor for the morning.
Bub had a party going on in his pants which required his swift removal, and though we feared the kids were too spun to settle, we made it to the showtime of «Believe» — and I'm so glad we did.
On the flight back, there was a change table in the washroom at the front of the plane (even the flight attendant was surprised), and they had milk for
Bub's bottle.
There are little cloth wraps that you can use to help support
bub on a regular chair, but you can't be sure the restaurants will have chairs stable enough.
Since his foot looks slightly blurred it focuses attention to the look on
Bub's face.
the grumpy
Bub, and making an appropriate fuss over our princess dress - clad daughter.
I did nurse
the Bub on his first flights when we went to Quebec City, but not during takeoff and landing.
Be sure to tread carefully and keep a watchful eye on baby —
our bub's motor control was just at the point of grabbing a shell, and of course it was headed for his mouth!
There was something invigorating about bundling up and going out to play in the snow, and curling up by the fire with a book while
Bub napped was nothing short of bliss.
When we were returning home, the flight was full and I could see the look of anxiety on the face of the gentleman sitting next to my husband, who was holding
the bub as my daughter and I got settled.
I have no doubt
Bub imagined himself flying down the mountain Ross Rebagliati - styles, but before he could head for the chairlift it was key that the instructors were confident that he had not only mastered his steering and stopping skills, but understood their importance as well.
My kids are big for their ages, and at almost - three
Bub is almost 50 lbs — the weight limit for the G - Luxe.
