bumper pads.

A more recent study of crib injuries that used data from the CPSC National Electronic Injury Surveillance System concluded that the potential benefits of preventing minor injury with
bumper pad use were far outweighed by the risk of serious injury such as suffocation or strangulation.197 In addition, most
