Business class fares see improvements to earning.

As you can
see in the photo below, this is Norwegian's equivalent of a
business or first
class fare.
American is still only selling First,
Business and Economy
Class fares on this flight (and all the other 777 - 300ER flights) but I have little reason not to believe that what we're
seeing here is the new layout for the American Airlines 777 - 300ER.....

You'll
see economy and
business class fares on the next page regardless, but each day shows the cheapest award on that date.
Using the best currently available rate to buy miles (1.83 cents each) that award would cost $ 2,105 and, just recently, we've
seen Business Class fares to Europe as low as $ 1,400 (HT: VFTW).
I frequently write about great
Business Class fares that Qatar Airways offers between Europe and Asia (

fares) and, when I
see a
fare that appeals, I usually snap it up before it disappears.
I've posted some amazing
Business Class fares before but this one has to be the best I've ever
seen....
We don't often
see super-cheap
Business Class fares to South Africa so when some turn up that are bookable for travel between now and deep into 2018 it's definitely worth taking note.
In one of the many good
Business Class promotions that Qatar Airways has offered there were some great
fares to Kuala Lumpur and, as I had never visited the city, this seemed like a good time to
see what it was like.
That's why the fact that British Airways is offering the cheapest
Business Class fares that I have ever
seen between the UK and the West Coast is big news.
It's also good to
see that the cheapest Qantas
Business Class fares will earn EQD at 25 % of miles flown (similar to British Airways, Finnair, Iberia and Cathy Pacific etc...)
More seats means more pressure to fill those seats and that can only be good news for prices — we've already
seen roundtrip Economy
fares in the $ 300 — $ 400 range for 2017 and I suspect it won't be long before we'll
see some great
Business Class fares appearing too.
but I don't
see how the
Business Class seats are going to be filled in July and August (low season for
Business Class travel) without significant discounts to
fares.
One scenario I
see where buying miles might make sense is if you frequently pay for
business class fares.
I've started to
see more and more good transatlantic
Business Class fares in past few weeks with
fares to Chicago from $ 1,680,
fares to Vegas from around $ 1,620, a great sale out of Prague which
saw flight prices as low as $ 1,346 and, of course, the amazingly low
fares I posted yesterday.
I can't say that I'd bother checking this route for Economy
Class seats if I wanted to fly to China (there are enough uncomfortable ways for me to do that straight out of LA) but I'd definitely be interested in trying out the
Business Class product — I'll keep my eyes on
fares and
see if anything interesting comes up.
Flexi
business class and premium economy
fares will also
see a bump.
Anytime you
see a high promotional rate, you should always consider this route because it's not uncommon to be able to pay an economy rate for a
business class fare by purchasing miles during a promotion (especially if you can stack promotions).
For example, you can
see the price of a basic economy / coach
fare, economy / coach, premium economy,
business class and first
class.
In fact, you might even
see a
business / first
class fee that's cheaper than a Y or B
class fare.
You can also purchase
Business Class fares, although I was not impressed with some of the
fares — we
saw much better deals at the TravelExpo in February.
BTW Explorer card does not provide the expanded IN
fare class saver
business / first award that high level elites can
see.
Lately we've
seen more first &
business class fare sales than ever before, as the airlines largely narrow the gap between discounted premium
fares and economy
fares.
Hainan Airlines continues to have great
business class fares, and I even
see some dates which still have the ~ $ 1,350 roundtrip
business class fare available:
