An «intelligent design» curriculum based on the very premise that «intelligent design» is
logic - based and not entirely «faith - based could never be accepted
by those who want to teach «intelligent design» in our
schools because

logic of disparate impact to
school discipline.
I argue there are three distinct, yet overlapping,
logics of instructional leadership most relevant to the principals in this study: the prevailing
logic, a broad and flexible set of ideas, easily implemented across a wide variety of
school settings; the entrepreneurial
logic, which emphasizes specific actionable practices that lead to increases in student achievement as measured
by standardized test scores; and the social justice
logic, focused on the experiences and inequitable outcomes of marginalized students and leadership practices that address these outcomes through a focus on process.
Without the numerical data produced
by the tests, there is no way to make simplistic comparisons, there is no justification for the corporate entry into public
schools, there is no way to shape education along the
logics of a competitive marketplace.

school's enrollment declines, then when public
schools take on more students, their costs wouldn't increase either.
