The
CMAS has developed a
CMAS International
Diver Training
Certification System that consists of
Diver, Speciality
Diver, Technical
Diver and Leadership
Diver Training Standards and which allows
divers, that have been trained in accordance with the prescribed
CMAS International
Diver Training Standards, to have their
certifications recognized throughout the world in countries that are members of the
CMAS family of
divers.
In fact, PADI and
CMAS have an official agreement in which they recognize each other's
certifications and accept
divers of each to not only dive at
CMAS and PADI centers all over the world, but also to continue to higher studies in either
CMAS of PADI courses going forwards.
If you hold a Padi Advanced
certification you can sign up to this course directly, if you are coming from other
diver training agency like SSI, NAUI,
CMAS, etc. you need to have 20 dives logged minimum.
