Another panacea for the Indian capital's lagging air quality: Legislation is being drafted to convert 40,000 diesel commercial vehicles to
CNG mode.
Both the versions draw power from the 998cc, petrol engine putting out 67bhp of power in petrol mode and 58bhp power in
CNG mode.
The low capacity petrol engine is claimed to be frugal, in petrol mode it delivers 24.07 km / l and in
CNG mode it returns 32.26 km / kg.

CNG mode.

CNG mode, this engine produces 56 PS of power at 5000 RPM and 90 Nm of torque at 2700 RPM.
CNG powered variants yield a relatively less output of 58.3 bhp at 6,200 RPM in
CNG mode while in petrol mode the engine propagates similar number as the regular petrol version.
When driven in petrol mode, the power output remains unchanged at 83 bhp at 6000 rpm, while in
CNG mode it drops down to about 70 bhp at the same 6000 rpm.

the CNG mode, it churns out 82bhp in combination with 110Nm torque output.

the CNG mode, the maximum fuel economy comes to nearly 22.8 Kmpl.

mode engines capable of digesting both gasoline and
CNG top the priority list, but the biggest push is expected to be behind plug - in hybrids.
