We have so much left over from our fall

CSA / Farm share just started up, 2) I got arugula in my first
basket and 3) I figured out a way to prepare it where I actually enjoy it.
I did, when I was given my
basket from Big Moon Farm, the
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm that I'm a member of.
Fast - forward about a year later and our
CSA started putting fennel in our
baskets and I knew I had to try and make some sort of ice cream with it.
Since Bloomsbury Farm
CSA is in full swing now there are usually several dishes I will make each week that highlight what we got in our
basket and what is in season.
I use it for my
CSA (subscription produce system), where I can put it into
baskets each week without icing it, and be sure that when my customers eat it in a day or two, they will be happy.
But, often they come packaged in those cute green plastic
baskets or in blister packs, so I choose to purchase them at the farmers market or via a
CSA where they are packaged in paper
baskets or better yet I also grow my own cherry tomatoes.
