Cabin tech doesn't seem to have been much of a priority for Chevy.
Surprisingly for a Ford,
the cabin tech does not stand out as much as other features of the car.
Not exact matches
Even without the high -
tech features, though, the 200's
cabin doesn't come across as stark.
All this new
tech, eye - candy, and amazing sound would be for nothing if the rest of the
cabin didn't come up to scratch.
Its four - cylinder engine is surprisingly stout, and
cabin electronics are in line with Acura's high -
tech focus, although the carmaker could
do with outsourcing its audio systems.
Our test car was the sedan version and, although it didn't come with a navigation system or premium sound, we were still impressed with its

Test the
tech: Detour guide While the 2008 Cayenne Turbo's Porsche Communications Management (PCM) navigation system generally failed to impress us (see the In the
cabin section below), one of its features
did manage to pique our interest.
The
cabin tech is the Cayenne S Hybrid's biggest problem, as it
does not feel up to the level of Porsche's luxury brand or the car's price.
This pumped - up model doesn't lose any of its excellent
cabin tech in exchange for its new performance parts, either.
But its
cabin tech isn't particularly impressive and doesn't go out of its way to work with personal electronics.
But the only significant
cabin tech option on our Clubman was Mini's premium sound system, which didn't impress us nearly as much as we thought it would.
The navigation system also helps out on its
cabin tech rating, though not as much, while we don't consider the sound system particularly special.
The instrument cluster LCD comes standard in the Stingray, as
does a sizable center touch screen LCD for
cabin tech features.

do with a great deal of simplifying.

But Chevy's commitment to modern
tech doesn't end with the spectacularly - outfitted dashboard — just take one step into the
cabin and you'll see that this kind of modern design extends throughout, from the power driver's seat to the available power sunroof and optional 9 - speaker premium audio system.
Fiat
did an excellent job of integrating this TomTom navigation unit with the car, giving it a very useful interface for the
cabin tech.
The practical side Although its rough ride and thirsty engine don't exactly lean toward practicality, the GT500 can be equipped, as our car was, with Ford's
cabin tech.
Al Gore would be much more believable had he taken a high
tech Henry David Thoreau approach and
did all his preaching via the internet from a modest lakeside
cabin.
