I know several DIY bloggers who have painted their cabinets and had great results.

I am thinking on painting my kitchen cabinets, everywhere I looked online and read that people painted their with DIY chalk paint seems that they loved it.

I have been thinking about the same decoupage «map treatment» for the top of one of our dressers, so I was thrilled to find the DIY instructions for a Map Cabinet at The Painted Hive!

Ultimate plan is to paint my oak kitchen cabinets white but not a DIY project for me.

At the time, we skipped more complicated or messy things like new counters or painting cabinets and instead added a wall of DIY board & batten, some fun cheery paint, a DIY faux tin tile backsplash (which by the way you can see is still there and working great for us years later!)

I'm realizing now that I need to make plans to paint the cabinets in our new home to help achieve the feeling I want in there (most likely DIY).

These cabinets hold ALL my craft / DIY supplies now... paint brushes, ribbon, glue, thread, stamps, and everything else in between.

We have these awesome shaker cabinets, so I knew they didn't need to be replaced, it would just take some DIY painting, and I can handle that!
