Cakes contain ground nuts, and the other is that Melting Moments replace some of the
flour with cornstarch (corn
flour) so the cookies literally «melt - in - your - mouth».

Bread, biscuits,
cakes, pastries, puddings and pies, which are all usually made with
flour containing gluten must be avoided.
The name comes from the fact that the original pound

My make - your - own vanilla
cake mix also

This means cutting out processed foods, like
cakes, cookies and muffins, that
contain white rice
flour, sugar, corn syrup, cornstarch, potato starch and tapioca starch.
Rice and all products
containing rice such as rice
cakes, anything made from rice
flour, and breakfast cereals.
Avoid: foods
containing refined sweeteners such as candies, sodas, cookies,
cakes etc.; white
flour products such as pasta and white bread; processed foods; modern soy foods; polyunsaturated and partially hydrogenated vegetable oils and fried foods.
Now here is where the biggest problem lies in baking a successful wheat and gluten free bread — the actual proportion of the wheat
flour in bread when compared to other ingredients is much greater than the proportion of the wheat
flour used in conventional
cakes, pastry and biscuits when compared to their other ingredients, and for this reason it becomes much more difficult to substitute the gluten
containing wheat
flour successfully with those non gluten
containing flours.
Refined processed carbohydrates are such things as breads, pastas, rolls, muffins,
flour of all kinds, crumpets, pastries, bagels, buns, pretzels, doughnuts, cookies, biscuits,
cakes, tacos, corn chips, wraps, most Mexican food, pizza, croissants, white (polished) rice, wheat, corn, soft drinks, sodas, sugary drinks, foods
containing corn syrup, candy / toffee / sweets, potato chips, pastry, pastries, desserts, jams, jelly, jello, dumplings, pasty / pastie, pies, batter, breadcrumbs, store bought cooked meats / cold cuts if they have added sugars and additives), sausages / hot dog frankfurters if they
contain carbohydrate fillers, additives or sugar, all sugars, all products
containing sugar, granola bars, breakfast bars, and most cereals.
The most dangerous among them are foods which
contain high glucose or high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), refined sugar (hidden in many different products), polished rice, and refined
flour products such as white bread, doughnuts,
cakes, biscuits, or refined pasta.
Anti-cancer diets recommend eliminating refined white
flour, and the products that
contain white
flour (cookies,
cakes, etc..)

containing a unique combination of
flours and ingredients that will allow the average celiac to create a variety of breads,
cakes, and cookies that are both delicious and safe to consume.
