Calibre does a great job converting to mobi, and then loading them directly onto the Kindle.
See the developer's comment at https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/1339766: «
calibre does not support EPUB 3 in any form whatsoever».
Converting the underlying files (going from EPub to Mobi) is a solved problem — a program called
Calibre does it with a simple drag - and - drop operation.
Calibre does not only work as an ebook reader, but converts everything to everything, has a code - based editor and is excellent at metadata manager.
Calibre does work with notes from other ereaders so I wonder if there is a way some how.
I know

«As long as EPUB's are DRM - free
Calibre does a good job at converting them».

(Vellum costs at least 199 $, and Calibre doesn't always create a valid epub.)
I do have to convert comics to pdf, but
calibre does that in under a minute per cbr comic file so it isn't a big deal.
I prefer to work in the HTML code, and
Calibre does not have this features.
Calibre does make a nice conversion from html to Mobi files as im sure you know.
(However,
Calibre does offer command - line tools for automated conversions — but we're not getting into that today.)
Please note that
Calibre does NOT support the decoding of DRM nor the translation of DRM protected titles.
I dismissed Sigil a while ago because it doesn't support automation in the same way
Calibre does.
Sadly, Calibre doesn't have an easy way to inject meta data into a book permanently.

Calibre does not circumvent DRM.

And btw you replying to comments etc is totally not a waste of time, I know if anyone replies to me it makes me want to follow them even more and especially someone of

Calibre did not work for me with 2.5.0, worked a bit with 2.5.1 (I could move material to the Glo) but last Friday's Calibre update fixed everything.

Yes but it needed to be
done, whilst it can be argued whether he would be able to produce the same performances he
does now in 4 years time, the whole idea i would presume would be to let the younger midfielders learn from such a talented individual now with the eventual hope that they would be able to surpass or perhaps match his ability, plus its always a good thing to have experienced players of such
calibre around the squad, like barca with Xavi he may not be able to perform to the level he was in his heyday, but every once an again produces a moment of magic when you need it on account of the experience.
The players will not grown and develop in their main positions (as much as they otherwise would have), unless they play out of position, against the highest
