Aside from the commitment to the natural lifestyle, or being unable to resist an unpleasant
tasting challenge, is there any reason to take
camu camu powder over vitamin C capsules?
Consumer reports are all in order:
camu camu powder should
taste as strong as moss on a boulder in the woods, but only smell mild.
2 bananas 2 tablespoons hulled hemp seed 1 bag of frozen blackberries (300 gr or 1 heaping cup) 2 cups pure water 1 dropper stevia (or to
taste) 1/2 tablespoon raw cacao
powder 1 teaspoon
camu camu powder 2 teaspoons green
powder 1/2 teaspoon wheat grass
powder 1 teaspoon lucuma
powder 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon bee pollen 1/2 stick vanilla or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract pinch Celtic or Himalayan sea salt
Pure
camu camu tastes pretty gross but the «Pure Radiance» brand is totally tolerable and comes in pill and
powder forms (
powder is slightly cheaper).
Alternatively, if you dislike the
taste of
camu camu powder or are too busy stir it into water and drink, you can take a good old fashioned miracle pill, and the best on the market is this Garden of Life Raw Vitamin C (amazon link).
