This resistance rate is remarkably higher than that of other
Candida species, (e.g., C. albicans, 0.5 - 2 percent; C.
glabrata, 11 - 13 percent).
The other pathogenic
Candida species are C.
glabrata, C. krusei, C. tropicalis, etc... Normally, none of these yeasts would pose any threat to our health, and they are normal inhabitants of our intestines.
