Cashew Nuts Recipe.

A quick question - a few of your
recipes (not many of them) include
cashew nuts.
I think this might be a tricky
recipe to make
nut free sadly as the
cashews are what make it creamy, I'm really sorry!
I must say that Ella's sweet
recipes aren't for me, because you Ella use so much almond butter,
cashews, pecans or other
nuts which I can no longer use.
I have a
nut allergy and wondered if there were any equally healthy alternatives you know that would work instead of things like almond butter, coconut oil,
cashew butter etc that feature quite heavily in your
recipes?
I've watched your video of this
recipe too Do you have to use
cashew butter for the filling or does any other
nut butter do the job?

cashews don't agree with me and so I was wondering what the best
nut alternative would be (e.g. macadamia, brazil, almond etc) for this
recipe as well as others like the carbonara from your book.

I use raw
nuts for this
nut butter
recipes, however I roast the
nuts for the almond butter and
cashew butter
recipe, they're all really delicious!

I understand if it doesn't work for you though in my
recipes I often use it for the specific sweetness or stickiness, so sometimes
nut butters (almond,
cashew or tahini) can work as a substitute or other oils (olive) or other sticky beauties (dates, figs etc).

cashews and the vanilla powder, while the
nut butter
recipe has coconut oil
For this
recipe I chose Southern Grove Almonds,
Cashews and Pecan Halves for the mix of
nuts.
cashews are one of my favorite
nuts... i throw them into pretty much every muffin
recipe... lol.
I'm not usually a fan of
nuts on my treats but I'd definitely be interested in trying this
recipe with honey roasted
cashews.
Any
nut butter works for this
recipe: almond,
cashew or macadamia
nut butter work well.
To increase the taste of rice in this simple
recipe, roasted onions and
cashew nuts are also used in ghee.
I may forgo the
cashews too and use those soaked
nuts for something else; this
recipe really doesn't need anything more!

As for the flavour being «too strong in Mac
nuts» as they are the base of the pie that isn't surprising, as noted in the
recipe the macs (or a portion of them) can be subbed for
cashews.
Also, for this
recipe you could use macadamia
nuts or pine
nuts instead of
cashews.
I don't think the almond butter flavor is too noticeable, but if you're not a fan of almonds you could also try this
recipe using peanut butter,
cashew butter, or even sunflower butter for a
nut - free alternative.
Because
cashews are my favorite
nuts lately, these bars are going onto my must - make
recipe list — today.

This
recipe requires a high speed blender such as a nutribullet to make the dressing completely smooth, so in the absence of one, you may need to soak the
cashew nuts in warm water for up to half an hour before preparing to ensure it's completely smooth.
That said, if you don't need to keep things
nut free and want to try out my

It is interesting because it is one of the few curry
recipes I uncovered that depends on
cashew nuts.
I actually do a mixed
nut recipe with hazelnuts, brazil
nuts,
cashews and walnuts - with rosemary and brown sugar.
This
recipe looks amazing and I'm dying to try it however I can't make the
cashew cream due to my
nut allergies.

Elana, Its funny you posted this... I was thinking last night about your truffle series and I was toying with the idea of cooking the almond butter / agave mixture down a little more (from the turtle
recipe) and scooping and forming it into small balls with a
cashew or hazelnut in the middle and coating them in chocolate and more chopped
nuts.
