There are a couple of different versions of
Catholic wedding vows.

Furthermore, the simple fact of having to speak the
vows in the
wedding service means there is one, concrete, tangible moment when those married in the
Catholic Church must assent, externally at least, to the ideals of
Catholic marriage.
A Religious
Wedding (there is a
Catholic Church on a nearby town), a non-denominational ceremony or a renewal of
vows can be arranged for a simple ceremony on the beach.
The
Catholic faith has two different versions, and for Protestants there are separate examples from each denomination, including Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian and Lutheran versions of the traditional
wedding vows.
