For me and for now, the ideal arsenal team would have Ozil and
Cazorla as attacking midfielders with coquelin and arteta behind them.

Adelaide could be the next to join the list but
as a central
attacking midfielder, I think he will likely play
as third choice back up behind Mesut Ozil and Santiago
Cazorla, mainly featuring in domestic cup competitions.
The problem remains the same the depth in the squad is not
as good
as it seems... sure
Cazorla & Wilshere were not fit but we're talking about
attacking midfielders an area where we're staked!
We heard a few days from the Arsenal and Spain international
midfield maestro, Santi Cazorla, about why he felt that he was more effective in the Central Attacking Midfield role for the Gunners, rather than being stuck out wide as he was for much of last

Sanchez on the right further from the goal with enough space to explode forward in quick
attack,
Cazorla on the opposite side with room to man the Central
Midfield like he has always done, opposite action from Sanchez... the two can interchange wings
as they are both very apt from both wings, with a telepathic understanding with Sanchez more amenable to move the ball forward from the deep but
Cazorla more amenable to defend from the deep.
The bottom line this summer in Arsenal signings is Le Prof MUST sign a top quality holding /
attacking midfielder of Goretzka's caliber to fully complement his entire starting XI team next season and just limits himself to the signings of Kolasinac and Lacazette alone which if he does without signing a top quality holding /
attacking midfielder, his starting XI team next season could be understrength at
midfield as Santi
Cazorla won't be available in the first half of the season and Elneny can't be relied on to deliver high performances for Arsenal on consistent basis.
I totally agree with your list of
attacking midfielders as they are well rounded in their respective games not one dimensional like Ozil and i will add

attacking midfielder.
I'm not sure any club in Europe has
as good a pair of
attacking midfielders in Özil and
Cazorla to choose from.
YES e Coq has proven that he CAN do the job, but has yet to prove he WILL do the job all season long and even then its a tall order to expect no suspensions or injuries to befall him, Arteta, Flaminni Chambers and Wilshire are all second rate in the DM position and
Cazorla doe not shine there
as he's an
attacking midfielder by nature so its the cheaper option YET AGAIN!!!!! iM NO hafiz Rhaman who parrots the «Spend spend spend» Mantra all day long but EVERYONE and thie dog knows what we need and what should be done so AW pull your finger out and get to it, stop thinking cheap and nasty and bring somereal glory back to the club you purport to love so much.
I still don't understand people's obsession with boxing players in to a specific role... The whole «true DM» is a dying breed, even Coquelin is arguably something else considering the advanced positions he takes up often in front of Santi and takes major risks in winning the ball back for us... IMO, the reason Coquelin has had such a successful integration into the first team is that he focussed incredibly hard on the basics of his role first and foremost before adding other elements to his game (long - balls, driving runs into space, more aggressive ball movement in general) it's not rocket science to tell a player to curb the
attacking side of their game and focus primarily on defence before
attack... Nor is it that hard to see that playing in a
midfield pairing with either Ramsey or
Cazorla is going to be different
as well.
One of the best
attacking midfielders in Europe last season, Santi
Cazorla is a real gem in this Arsenal side and it's crazy to think Mesut Ozil cost nearly three times

as the silky Spaniard!

Cazorla behind.

midfield..

attacking midfield players, such

Cazorla and Theo Walcott.
I don't even know why he started Welbeck ahead of Walcott in the first place, Welbeck was giving away the ball too often on the right and wasn't helping Bellerin in defence.Bellerin too can't be blameless for being caught out of position many times, he didn't even know who he was marking. The reason why we lost the
midfield battle wasn't because Coquelin didn't do much, the problem was with Ramsey and
Cazorla, they were loosing possesion too often in our own half giving more room for counter
attack Coquelin alone couldn't contain opponent's pressure for the full 90minutes he needed help too defencively from Ramsey who didn't give him any, Ramsey now sees himself
as an AM who could go forward at anytime and ignore his defensive responsibility.Koscielny didn't do much to prevent the second goal.
In Wenger's traditional 4 -2-3-1 formation, Lemar could either take over
Cazorla's role
as the deeper - lying playmaker with a licence to roam forward or play on the left wing, but if Wenger decides to stick with the formation he finished last season with, three at the back, Lemar might struggle to displace Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez
as one of the two
attacking midfielders, however, that might change if one or both players leave the club.

as the other top

Cazorla, Özil and David Silva.

Now it gets difficult, Santi
Cazorla, his injury probably ended our title hopes this year, we missed his incisive passing and quick feet in
midfield this year, once he was out of the side every
attack seemed so slow, laboured and uninventive, there will be rumours all summer about him returning to Spain, and the sale of Santi would go some way to pretty much pay for Xhaka's transfer, the only thing that would go against him is his defensive contribution is not
as great
as our other options.
Cazorla can play
as a central
midfielder,
attacking midfielder or left winger.
