Institutional needs for flow cytometry services were carefully evaluated and a decision was made to transition the operation of the South Campus Flow Cytometry and
Cell Sorting Facility to an institutional core to provide the Flow Cytometry and Cellular Imaging Core with sufficient capacity needed to support the institution's investigators.
The team at the HZI providing access through the project has access to state - of - the - art laboratories and animal facilities with BSL2 containment, flow cytometry and
cell sorting facilities, histopathology and in vivo imaging (IVIS).
