With each area being cordoned off from the rest of the stages, the pacing can feel a little off at
times, with environmental transitions happening suddenly after a loading
screen rather than dynamically occurring as in the Souls games, but this
more concentrated focus on the levels also allows for condensed, goal based gameplay that is almost impossible to achieve in Dark Souls, which is
certainly welcomed when you're short on
time and just want to grind out a twilight mission or two.
Adam Driver It may seem counter-intuitive to highlight the sole male regular of a show called «Girls,» and we
certainly don't want to diminish the performances of Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams, who've been doing consistently stirling work on the HBO show (indeed, Mamet might have made this list if she's had a little
more screen time — she's been a little wasted on the show to date).
The usually serious Tommy Lee Jones
certainly brings the camp with one of the
more absurd takes on Harvey Dent, though he struggles for attention when sharing
screen time with Jim Carrey's manic Riddler.
However, Djimon Hounsou's ferocity in his co-leading Blood Diamond role — hell, he might actually have a tad
more screen time than DiCaprio — will
certainly translate to ethical sincerity to many Oscar voters (who already indicated their affinity for the film by nominating it in nearly as many categories as Murphy's film).
Certainly, Sacred Planet would have been a lot
more potent on a
screen eleven
times as big as you or me.
The real improvement comes from a tweaked aspect ratio that allows you to see considerably
more on -
screen at any given
time, which is
certainly nice.
Admittedly, the quality of this
screen capture from the conference's livestream isn't the greatest, but it is the very first
time we get to see the game in motion, and is
certainly more to look at than the lone screenshot that was released (pictured below).
